About Me
My name is Christopher Daher, better known to some as "Peapod".
I'm currently a radio personality, podcaster, and giant nerd out of Toledo, Ohio.
I'm in giant support of the arts, of all kinds, but especially music. Music is just one of those forms that is limitless when it comes to ideas, people, styles, and creativity.
I've been a music fanatic since I was little and watching my grandfather show his record collection, and seeing his whole setup on how he played them. It definitely shaped me into who I am now, and my career paths in radio, and independently as a podcast with the On The Radar Podcast, that features music and performances from artists coming to, through, and from the greater NW Ohio region.
The products you are seeing and possibly purchasing will help support my projects, which means the world to me. However, it's not about me in the long run. A portion of the proceeds with each purchase will go towards helping the arts in the community, and building a foundation for the future.
The arts seems to be tossed aside too many times when schools have to save funding; Worse yet, being "artistic" means being "different" and that is viewed as almost a curse. Artistic doesn't mean a painter or a musician, being an artist means your thoughts and your passions going into a medium to be shared with the universe. That's what the arts means to me.
